This page highlights my role as a Content Creator at a surf camp in Nicaragua. In this capacity, I delivered enticing photo packages to guests, featuring surf photos and videos for instructors' analysis. I also conducted online monitoring to explore opportunities for increasing the camp's publicity.
I took charge of creating event posters with Canva, Lightroom and Photoshop. Every day, I posted captivating 'stories,' offering a view into camp life. I ensured prompt and effective assistance for everyone who sent messages on Instagram and Facebook. I also initiated a presence on TikTok to connect with a younger audience, since the goal was to broaden the camp's appeal.
Crafting blog posts on the website about the best surf spots and other subjects relevant to surf camps, I ensured they were optimized for SEO to improve Google ranking. Additionally, I established a FAQ page, strategically targeting commonly searched questions to boost traffic to the website. These efforts showcase my active role as a communication marketing professional with a keen understanding of SEO and Google ranking.

When I started volunteering at the surf camp, we initiated a daily surf forecast feature on YouTube. To make it engaging and entertaining, we enlisted our 'local funny guy' to deliver the surf forecast in a humorous manner. This initiative aimed to enhance the camp's online presence on YouTube and attract more publicity.

Each day, we posted these surf forecast videos on Instagram Stories, with a call-to-action inviting viewers to watch the full video on our YouTube channel. This approach helped to effectively cross-promote our content across different platforms.
